Privacy
What Frogi knows about you.
Short version: almost nothing, and none of it leaves your phone.
Frogi has no account and no server for your usage. Your rules, your limits, your streaks and your history are stored on your device and are not transmitted to us or to anyone else.
The only personal data we ever receive is an email address, and only if you type one into the waitlist form yourself.
Which apps you block
Frogi uses Apple's Screen Time framework. When you pick an app to limit, the picker runs in Apple's own process, not ours. What Frogi receives back is an opaque token: a reference Apple can resolve but we cannot read. Frogi never learns which apps you chose, cannot list the apps on your phone, and cannot see how you use them beyond the limits you set yourself.
The camera
If you choose a mission that counts movement, such as push-ups, Frogi uses the camera to count repetitions. This runs entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No frame is uploaded, and no frame is written to disk. Nothing is recorded, and nothing is kept once the mission ends. If you never choose a camera mission, Frogi never asks for camera access at all.
Health and motion
Missions based on walking read step counts from Apple Health with your permission. Frogi reads the number of steps for the current mission and nothing else. It does not read your wider health record, and it does not write anything back. You can revoke this in Settings at any time and the rest of the app keeps working.
Notifications
Frogi sends three kinds of notification and no others: when an app is caught, when it is released, and a weekly recap. There are no re-engagement notifications, no streak guilt, and no marketing pushes.
Analytics
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party trackers. We do not know how many times you opened Frogi, which screens you visited, or whether you completed a mission.
This website has none either. There is no analytics provider, no advertising pixel and no cookie set by us, which is why you were never asked to accept any. The only outside services a page load touches are Google Fonts, which serves the typeface and in doing so sees your IP address, and Kit, but only at the moment you submit the waitlist form.
The waitlist
If you give us your email address, we use it once: to tell you Frogi is available. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to any other list. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to team@oculta.app.
Waitlist addresses are processed by Kit (kit.com), who store them on our behalf. Nothing else about you is sent to them.
Payments
Frogi has no payment system of its own. If it ever charges for anything, the purchase is handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and we receive only what Apple reports to developers. That never includes your card details.
Children
Frogi is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
Because almost everything stays on your device, most of your data is already entirely in your hands: deleting the app deletes it. For the email address we hold, you can ask to see it, correct it or have it erased by writing to team@oculta.app. Depending on where you live, the GDPR or the CCPA may give you further rights, and we will honour them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
